The Machines Are New. The Thinking Isn’t.

For one evening we opened the doors and let people loose on the new floor. They got on the machines, felt the difference, got a pump, and asked a lot of good questions.

So now it’s been tested. Not by me. By you.

A few months ago this was still an idea. Then it was a lot of flights to Germany, looking at toys, planning, ordering, shipping, and eventually a truck on 57th Street and a very full afternoon of moving things around.

Why?

Because better tools give us more options. And more options mean we can match the exercise to the person instead of forcing the person into the exercise.

That’s the whole point, and it’s what the night actually showed.

People are built differently

Different limb lengths, injuries, mobility, strength, goals. The same exercise isn’t right for everyone. The new equipment simply gives us more good ways to find the one that is.

Machines don’t coach themselves

They never have. Good coaching, consistency and muscular tension still do the work. Better tools just let us do it more precisely.

You can’t feel this in a photo

Which is why we opened the doors. People came in, tried things, talked training with the team, and got a look at how the floor actually works.

We didn’t do all this because more machines look impressive.

We did it because sometimes the difference between a good exercise and the right exercise is the whole thing.

The equipment is new. The principles aren’t.

And now that it’s been broken in, come try it for yourself.
